As a child Yama broke many styli playing with his parents turntable and records. As a teen he was the one parked up at the stereo system at a party CD wallet in hand ready to play the next song. But in the year 2000 in a side room at a rave he discovered his calling – house music. It made him want to dance. He was hooked. He’s played at few clubs and festivals across NZ and is currently a resident at Red Bar in Auckland.
