Grassmouth

Grassmouth has been a regular feature on BASE FM for the last 10 years always getting involved with the stations gigs including Grey Lynn Park Festival and Supporting Acts at Leigh Sawmill Cafe. Other festival highlights include Ruapuke Roots Garden 2018 and 2016. Grassmouth has musical roots based in hip hop reggae and soul but is constantly exploring the boundaries of where these styles intersect with modern dance and rave music. Grassmouth has spent extended periods (2 years) in both Berlin and Vanuatu where he has hosted gigs from underground bunkers to beachfront paradises. Like a sponge he has incorporated influences from these places into his sets. There is no better place to journey through musical space and time with DJ Grassmouth than in the summer by the water deep dark night or blaring sun and I would be privileged to join the roster at Shipwrecked.
